Inspection and Testing

As a NICEIC registered company we inspect and test all our installations. In turn we then provide a completion certificate with all test results. We also offer this service in existing installations. This may be useful if you want to know the condition of an electrical installation. For inspection and testing of existing installations we provide a periodic inspection certificate with our findings. Tests which we complete during inspection and testing are as follows:

-Visual inspection

-Continuity of circuit protective conductors

-Polarity

-Earth loop impedance

-Insulation resistance

-Functional operation of devices

All tests are carried out to the 17th edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2008).

Portable appliance testing is required by law to be carried out in work places every year. We understand that not every business can have tools or computer systems out of service throughout the working day therefore this service can be undertaken out of hours. Every appliance tested is provided with a 'passed' or 'do not use' sticker and test results are provided on a certificate.

Domestic Installations

We undertake any size of house/ apartment may it be a new build, an extension, loft conversion, garage or a rewire.
